Keeria Vadai


Urad dal(Ulundhu) – 1 Cup
Channa dal – 1/4 Cup
Spinach or marnath leaves – 1.5 Cups(chopped finely)
Ginger – 1 tbsp(finely chopped)
Green Chilli – 2(finely chopped)
Asafoetida – generous pinch
Salt – as required
Oil – to deep fry
Wash and soak the Urad dal and Channa dal for minimum 2 to 3 hours. Then drain the water and grind them together coarsely.
Mix all the chopped ingredients along with salt and Asafoetida.
Make vadai shape and deep fry.
