Millet Vada

Healthy version of Medu Vada (Uradh dal /Black gram vada) today I tried for our breakfast with the combination of Sambhar and Coconut and Peanut Chutney.
I have used whole Black gram, Foxtail millet (Kangani) and Finger Millet (Ragi)

Ingredients
1.Whole Black gram 1 Cup ( Uradh dal with Chilka )
2. Foxtail Millet 1 cup ( Kangani)
3.Finger Millet 1/4 cup (Ragi )
4.salt
5.Cumin seeds 1 spoon
6.oil for deep fry

1.Soak Black gram , Finger millet and Foxtail millet separately in sufficient water for 4 to 5 hours.
2.Dont’ remove the black gram chilka completely.
3.Clean and drain them
4.Corsely grind them with adding very little water
5.Transfer the batter into a large bowl add salt and cumin seeds .Mix well everything to combine the batter.we can also add chopped ginger nd curry leaves also.
6.take a cover or banana leaf apply little oil nd make vadas, deep fry in hot oil.
Serve them with Coconut chutney or Sambha
